Named items[]
Kragle[]
This is the main relic used by President Business in the movie. President Business then has Bad Cop use the Kragle on his parents, as an example of what would happen on Taco Tuesday. President Business later uses more samples of it to glue the LEGO universe together. After President Business repented, he disabled the Kragle using the Piece of Resistance. However, after President Business used the Piece of Resistance, the Kragle exploded.
Cloak of Band-Dye-aid[]
Used by President Business when he asks Bad Cop whether he wants to try it on, to which Bad Cop denies. Fortunately for his enforcer, the antagonist throws it aside and it lands on an unlucky assistant. Since it is stuck to the robot, a second assistant attempts to help out the character, but the relic sticks to them both.
The same plaster is also quoted by MetalBeard who says it will "entrap" whoever touches it during a flashback sequence when the pirate reminisces on a failed attempt to enter the tower.
Fleece Crested Sceptre of Queue-Teep[]
A Q-Tip or cotton bud used with the Polish Remover of Nah'yil to destroy the "good" side of Bad Cop's face.
Po-Leesh Ree-mover of Nah'iyl[]
Nail Polish Remover used with the Fleece Crested Sceptre of Q-Teep to destroy the "good" side of Bad Cop's face. The words "Strengthened Formula" can be read on the container.
Orb of Tee-Teleeste[]
A golf ball used by Bad Cop to destroy Cloud Cuckoo Land. Interestingly, it is not Lord Business who says its name, but rather Superman who says it.
Sword of Exact-Zero[]
Used by President Business to detach the Piece of Resistance from Emmet, to whose back it was inexplicably stuck for most of the movie.
Piece of Resistance[]
The Piece of Resistance is a Krazy Glue cap and thus the item that both the protagonists and antagonists seek to acquire. After being stuck to Emmet's back by some unknown means until the climax, it is seemingly placed back on the relic pedestal, but President Business suddenly throws it out from the Octan Tower into the Infinite Abyss of Nothingness in order to allow the Kragle to be released without interference. Emmet returns to the tower with it and convinces President Business not to destroy the LEGO universe. Vitruvius prophesies that it will cause an explosion when capped with the Kragle, which later turns out to be true.
Infinite Abyss of Nothingness[]
Although it is not an actual relic, it is mentioned nonetheless when President Business threatens to throw Bad Cop out from the window of the Octan Tower for failing to acquire the Piece of Resistance. Fortunately, Bad Cop dissuades him from doing so. It is later used by Emmet to access the human world when he attempts to stop the Master Builders from being electrocuted.
Unnamed items[]
Chewing gum[]
This relic was used to immobilize Superman during the assault on Cloud Cuckoo Land. After the Man of Steel was trapped, Green Lantern approaches him and tells him he can help, only to get stuck in the gum.
Coin[]
Used by President Business to behead Vitruvius when he fights back after being told that robots will destroy him.
Battery[]
MetalBeard claims this is an item that is able to "zap" the Master Builders. It was attached to Emmet later on in the movie. It was going to be used to electrocute the Master Builders, only to malfunction when Emmet sacrifices himself.
Stapler remover[]
MetalBeard claims this is an item that is able to "snap" the Master Builders.
Ruler[]
Metallic ruler the robots used to access the platform on which the Kragle was situated.
Laser pointer[]
First used by the robots to blind Vitruvius, in the process destroying his falcons, when Business storms his fortress to seize the Kragle. Later seen in Bricksburg police station when robots in the melting chamber attempt to remove the Piece of Resistance from his back, but they never actually use it because Wildstyle attacks them with the very same laser pointer.
Trivia[]
- The laser pointer was later re-used in "The Lego Ninjago Movie", where it was called the "Ultimate Weapon" that was apparently able to defeat Lord Garmadon. Ironically, its true purpose was to summon a cat Meowthra, which rampaged through Ninjago, destroying whatever it encountered. It was for this reason that Master Wu explicitly banned anybody (and, in fact, everybody) from using the device.
- For whatever reason, Will Ferrell mispronounces all of the names of these relics, possibly to make them sound scary and yet awesome.
- In culnary terms, a piece of resistance refers to the best part or feature of something, a showpiece, or highlight. It is actually a French word.
- The title "Kragle" is a possible reference to the Desert Eagle from Counterstrike, where it's commonly called the "Deagle" for short.
